The Georgia District of Kiwanis International was established in 1919. The 3 clubs in the District at that time were Atlanta, Columbus, and Rome. Over 90 years later, the Georgia District has 18 regions within communities throughout the state of Georgia, USA.
Our members are in every corner of the Georgia District and are committed to developing future generations of leaders through guidance and example. They are ordinary people performing extraordinary work within the community every day. Whether revitalizing neighborhoods, organizing youth sports programs, tutoring others, building playgrounds, and/or being examples for others to follow, Georgia Kiwanians' continue to make a difference by willingly performing countless projects to help develop the children within our communities to become the future leaders of tomorrow.
The Georgia District of Kiwanis International is comprised of 142 Kiwanis Clubs located in 157 of Georgia's 159 counties. Walker and Dade Counties in North Georgia are part of the Kentucky-Tennessee District, due to their proximity to Chattanooga, Tennessee.
